One of the main elements of WeMakeIt is the microcontroller. At this version of the kit we use Arduino. The open-source Arduino environment makes it easy to write code and upload it to the microcontroller. It runs on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. The environment is written in Java and based on Processing, avr-gcc, and other open source software.
With the current version of the kit, you must download and install the drivers for connecting the microcontroller to your computer.
